purchase not delivered
made a purchase on 12/26 it gave a delivery time frame between 12/30 and 1 /09 . never recieved tracking numbers ,so i contacted the seller through ebay asking for tracking numbers and has the item shipped ? nevr got a reply. after 1/09 i contacted him through ebay asking for a refund of the purchase price and all of a sudden he gets back to me saying he never knew it had been purchased? He got the message asking for the refund but supposedly didnt get a message that it had been purchased and didnt get a message from me asking for tracking numbers and if the item had shipped . Sounds a little odd to me . I suspect that he found the shipping costs were going to eat up the purchase price and he decided to not ship it . My question is why do i have to wait another week before ebay gets involved? He now says he will ship it right away however ive already made another purchase and no longer need or want his. After telling him this by ebay message he again doesnt respond .

Mentor8 months agoGo to your Purchase History and locate the purchased item. What is the last estimated delivery date? You have up to 30 days past that date in order to file an Item Not Received case, to get your money back. Once you file, the seller has 3 days to provide a tracking number that shows Delivered or issue a full refund. If the seller does neither, on day 4 you return to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, to force a refund.
If it is past the 30 day limit, you will need to log into Paypal and file an Item Not Received case there, if that is how you paid, as they allow up to 180 days from date of purchase to file, to get your money back.
If you paid with a credit card, file a charge back with your credit card issuer.
