Purchase does not show up in my purchase history
I received an order today and I don’t like it. I want to make a return which the seller allows. The problem is that the item does not show up in my purchase history so I can’t initiate the return. I checked the “show hidden “ tab and the order does not appear there either. Any ideas on what I ought to do? I called EBay but cannot get out of their phone tree.

Mentor1 year agoNot sure where you found a phone number since eBay has no incoming phone numbers for customer service.
Did you happen to purchase the item as a guest and not through your account? If you did then you need to know that eBay keeps guest purchases totally separate from your account purchases. You need to find the confirmation email you received for the purchase. The email will have special log in instructions that apply only to this item. When you log in with these instructions you will be able to open any case or request you need.
