Purchase cancelled
I purchased ($703.14) a BUY IT NOW item on Dec 1, the seller cancelled the purchase on Dec 1, relisted ($983.14 or best offer) the item on Dec 1 and resold the item on Dec 1. Reason to cancel: "The seller canceled this order because the item was no longer available."
I messaged the seller and ask how the item could be relisted using the same pictures and description if the item was no longer available. His reply: "sorry about that...i had a deal with another buyer and i had to honor it,,,". The item had been listed for some time, probably over a week, before I purchased it.
After my purchase I believe another buyer made an offer to purchase the item at a higher price so the cancellation. Should be banned from selling.

It very rare that a seller would be removed from eBay for a single problem/mistake.
The seller received a defect on his seller record for the cancellation. Too many of those and he won't be selling for long.
