Proving humanity and solving puzzles

Question

I've been on ebay 25 years.Just got a new Chromebook (was previously using a Chromebook) and am now being forced to prove I'm not a robot and solve a puzzle every time I try to put something on my watchlist.Is there any way around this idiocy?

Repeated Captcha requests or failures might be a sign that your browser is having problems saving cookies properly, or else a sign of a network issue. Using a VPN or a hotspot, or certain kinds of privacy software might also cause some issues.

Make sure your browser is up-to-date and has JavaScript enabled (and not blocked) and that cookies are not being blocked:

Try using a different browser or a private or incognito browser window and see if you run into the same Captcha issues. If not, try manually erasing just your eBay cookies once in your original browser.

If you are using an ad blocker, try temporarily disabling it or other add-ons to see if that makes a difference.
