Proving buyer collects

I've just sold something and met with the buyer to hand it over. The buyer paid by PayPal but ebay is holding the funds because it says it's checking postage and delivery. How do I prove to ebay the item has been delivered?

After the fact, you may be able to contact your buyer and have the buyer provide the six digit code to confirm that the buyer has received the item.
