provide return label without return

Question

hi there, i accidentally shipped the wrong item to a customer. there's no return in progress or anything. Customer told me i sent the wrong item and I am shipping them the correct item (After my profuse apology) and i want to include a return label for them. Alternatively, I can purchase and email them the return label. I want to make this as easy for them as possible. I can't figure out how to send a return label without having them go through the official return process. thanks in advance!

thanks, this is very helpful. I signed into paypal, and was able to create a "Quick Label" which took all of three minutes. Very great alternative and i know i will use this often. I would avoid a service like stamps.com that provides some of the same services, but charges you a pretty hefty monthly fee.

You won't be able to do it through Ebay. You can buy a label through Pay Pal and a few other sites and send it to them.
