If you have any trouble locating an eBay Message, or an email message from eBay, just print out your order details and take that with you. The seller will need the order details so they can Scan the QR code or manually enter the 6-digit code.
If you're the seller:
The buyer will receive a QR Code and a 6-digit Code in an eBay Message (or an email message).
IMPORTANT: If the buyer has trouble locating the eBay Message/email message, ask them to go to their purchase history and print out the "Order Details" page and bring that instead. This is important because you have to Scan the QR code or Manually enter the 6-digit code (to protect you from an "Item not received" case being opened). More below:
use the eBay app to scan the QR code the buyer received.
use the eBay app to manually enter the 6-digit code the buyer received.
Thank you but this info references the APP the buyer does not have a phone or the app... The web page seems to be missing this featurs for the 6 digit code.
That's OK. Just be sure the buyer brings the order details with them so you can do what you need to do. As long as you have the 6-digit code, you're good: You can enter the 6-digit code the buyer received.
"When you scan or manually enter these codes, the item will immediately be marked as delivered but you'll still need to mark the item as paid if you collect cash at the time of delivery."
