Promoting Listings. Worth it or not?
New eBay seller here. I’ve read I need to make sales getting started so I can get good reviews however not sure if promoting sales is worth it? Insole a sweater for $10, it was listed for 3 days and sold, but the promotional portion was $3.28? That seems super high for such a low priced item. Unbelievers when it said recommend 12%, it would cost $1.20? Can someone explain to me if it is worth it. Thank you!

OP7 months agoThank you, so list with price only? Do not promote or click best offer? Ex: listed for $25, I know i would accept $30, so list for $30 or open to offer with minimum of $30?

"Promoting Listings. Worth it or not?" ... the short answer is NO not as you are getting started.
Price your items at the lowest you will sell for and cover:
-Your cost
-eBay fees
-Your profit margin
-Promoting just cuts in to your margin
-Best offer just drives your prices down
