Promoted Store Listings Removal
Hello fellow sellers! 👋
I'm looking for some guidance regarding promoted store campaigns on eBay.
Could anyone advise on the process for removing these campaigns? Additionally, I'm concerned about whether discontinuing these campaigns might impact my store's overall visibility or presence on the platform.
Your insights and experiences would be greatly appreciated as I navigate these settings.
Thank you for your expertise! 🙠#eBaySeller #PromotedListings

I sell almost 4 times as many items that are found through promoted listings than I do for items found that are not promoted. I use the lowest ad rate. When you price your items, you'll want to factor in all of your costs of doing business (including the ad fee for promoted listings). If it makes more sense to sell more at a slightly higher price (or sell more at a slightly lower price if you don't factor in the promoted listing fee) then it's something to consider.
Promoted listings don't directly have an impact on your store's overall visibility as buyers don't typically search for stores - they search for items in your store. Promoting an item definitely impacts its visibility. Of course there has to be interest from buyers in purchasing the item. No one is going to buy something they don't want just because it's promoted. Promoting an item is beneficial for products that have both demand and competition. If there are several sellers with the same item, promoting the item can get it in front of the buyer ahead of the other seller's items. If you have no competition, then promoting the item only helps get it up in search results ahead of similar items that might come up in the same search.
If you want to remove promotions from all or large groups of your items, you can easily do that using bulk edit. Since you only have a few items, it's easy to experiment listing with and without the promotion. Just recognize that for most sellers, we are going into a slower season (until around September/October when things start picking up again for the holidays) so you're comparing apples to oranges.
Here's a link to information about the bulk edit function if you haven't used it before:

Here is a link to the page in Seller Hub for Promoted Listing Campaigns. Campaigns dashboard | eBay
If you ever use them in the future I suggest creating a Start date and an End date.
While I completely abandoned Promoted Listings at the end of 2023 (because the jacked up "Suggested" ad rates in my categories made selling that way unsustainable) I did have success with them early on. BUT, I ran one 30 day Campaign each quarter.
Keep in mind, even if you End a Campaign any listings with the 30 day click attribute will still be charged the ad rate if they sell within 30 days from the last click that occurred during the Campaign.
Of course your visibility may change if you stop Promoting but understand eBay makes more money if you promote so obviously they don't want you to stop using PL ...
You are a newer Seller, the advice I give Sellers is to set your price at the lowest amount you will sell for and cover eBay fees (that's the regular category fees NOT promotions), your cost and your target profit margin.
The other [art of selling online is it is a numbers game. The more you have for sale the better chance you will have that something will sell. You only have 13 items for sale ... if you sold all 13 next week you would have nothing at all to sell ...
You are also using the Auction format on clothing and foot ware ... those you should change to Buy it now in my opinion. Auctions are good for rare and slightly more valuable items.
