promoted listings

Question

I am a Top Rated seller for over 14 years

I have a store with 500 items

I have over 850 sales, and feedback is 99.6

I cannot access promoted listings and have been told by Ebay to wait and keep checking

It has been 6 months since I last spoke to a representative about it

Am i missing something?

Really sorry you are being blocked from using a feature you would like to try. I read several pages on Promoted listings in the eBay Help pages and the word soup used for qualification is a bit shallow on details:

You must meet certain eligibility requirements to use eBay Advertising, such as having an eBay account in good standing and maintaining high seller performance ratings.

It is hard to say what the firm requirements are.

Now, having said that I used to use PLS (Promoted Listing Standard) but abandoned that at the end of 2023 after several change they made in early 2022. That was when they fully launched PLA (Promoted listing advanced, changed how views we counted and magically doubled and triple the "Suggested" ad rates in my categories. Selling that way became unsustainable.

You have sold 170 items int he last 90 days, that's pretty good in my book.
