Promoted listing just another way to milk to sellers who put supper on everyones plate!
Horrible been a seller since 1999. All I have seen especially since ebay entered the NYSE is more and more ways to control everything put most of a burdens on the sellers. Just recently sold a $500 it and they charge $79 on fees then some how i mistakenly promoted the item and they charge another $79.99. Wow so now i have to be very careful when listing our it will get promoted. The promoted items feels likesuch a horrible rip off to the sellers. And now with AI when you search half the time what you are actually looking for as a buyer does not even populate. It is unrelated promoted garage i did not even search for. Which then I wonder I my item I a selling even reaching out to my customer?? another way to push for promoted items to make money in the meantime confusing the buyer and hurting sellers. But here I always am because it is still the best vehicle to sell. I only wish someday someone would create a web site that is better but until then i a stuck. Only message I have ever put on here becuase I know it all does not matter. They dont really listen to the sellers and over the years started with al least a little customer service. No they really have none. If the are crazy luck to talk to someone they just read off e-bay policy and provide no real customer service. Just always protocol answer. I have totally given up on trying to get resolution on complicated problem. Because they very seldom ever favor the seller. We the sellers are the ones working the hardest putting supper on everyones plate. We are also the ones who almost always get the short end of the stick. No matter I am just venting to really nowheresville. I just wish enough sellers would rise up and force them to stop gouging us and provide real customer service. We need to go on strike! Only thing that can ever change is direct competition. That would fix everything.

Final Value Fees are 13.6% in most categories, based on the TOTAL amount the buyer pays (price of item + shipping charges + sales tax).
