Promote Item
I am new to eBay. When I listed my first few items, the button to “Promote†item was present before I hit the list item button. Now the “Promote†button is not present. - Anyone know what is going on with this?

Are you trying to promote AUCTION listings? If so there have been some changes to the promotions system.
Express Promotion for auctions has been ended on April 15th and will be replaced on April 29th with Promoted Listings Standard. This is a good thing! This means that you will not pay fees unless the item sells.
You can see eBay's announcement about it here> https://www.ebayads.com/2024/04/04/grow-your-business-with-promoted-listings-standard-now-in-place-o...

You may not be able to promote your listing right now. Promoted listings standard has eligibility rules and as a new seller you may not have enough sales to qualify. Here is the information on it.

Right now the new option for auction listings has not begun and there maybe changes to the policy to allow new sellers to use it. You will have to wait until it updates to see if the option is available for you.
