Programmatically Updated Handling Times
Some of my items only need a day of handling time, but sometimes, I will get a large order on those items, making it significantly harder to fulfill within a day. Without getting into too much detail, when I sell motherboards, I want them tested and updated before shipping, which is made much harder when someone buys a dozen motherboards.
Is there a way to set the handling time programmatically? In other words, if someone buys X number of items, can I set my handling time to Handling Time + 1 Day without changing the handling time on small orders?

No, the handling time is set on each item. There is nothing at the order level that would let you adjust it.
You could limit how many you list to the number you can handle within your handling time.
I understanding waiting to make updates to eliminate any potential duplicate effort, but I would think that you want to test before listing - you don’t want to have to cancel orders due to non-functioning stock. Cancelled orders are the worst type of defect on your selling record.
