Products with eligibility requirements policy..{e289660-1289264x}
Hello everyone, I am a new seller on eBay, it appears that I have been blocked from selling because of a policy,
Products with eligibility requirements policy..
I was wanting to know if anyone else has had this problem and or is there a way around it because as I said, I am new to this and was just testing the waters before I dive in. I only have 40 items listed and have sold 12 at a good rate, I didn’t know that I had to sale 100 items in 90 days or $1,000 in 12 months. I have been blocked from selling my items that is gonna make me the most money and will exceed the $1,000 rule/policy if they would let me continue but have stopped me at the 100 items in 90 day part of the policy. It says in the policy 100 items in 90 days OR $1,000 in 12 months, apparently the OR don’t mean much in that part of the policy, I have 1,000’s of items to list and would have already have listed the items if I would have known it wasn’t going to allow me to do it after 90 days, as I said I know I would have exceeded the $1,000 in 12 months by a lot. Is there a way to get an extension or to have someone other than the automated assistant apply the rules that are set. They tell me I can keep selling but I cannot sell what I was because I don’t meet the policy requirements. Somebody please help me!!!

Mentor9 months agoInstead of spending your time trying to get around the rules, educate yourself on the rules. Learn the policies. Pleading ignorance on breaking a rule you don't know about it doesn't matter--you still didn't follow the rules. We all have to follow the rules set forth by eBay. There are no shortcuts.

OP9 months agoSorry if you find my post ignorant or if that is just the way you took it, I’m not trying to break any rules, just figured someone here with experience would know if there is somebody to contact to reevaluate my situation, I simply want to keep selling on eBay with the items that I started with 3 months ago and the items that I have added, I was planning on adding more products as well! That’s why I know I was gonna meet the goal for the 12 month rule that I recently found out about. My Seller performance overview Says I am Above Standard, so why would eBay stop me from adding more of the same items that has made me Above Standard. Sorry for any inconvenience to you! Thanks for your advice!

Mentor9 months agoThe requirements for listing coins and currency are the same requirements for being a Top Rated Seller. Until you are a TRS you will not be able to list in this category.

There is no way around the new requirement for coin and currency sellers. The requirements are at least 90 days of selling, plus at least 100 items sold and $1,000 in sales in the last 12 months. It doesn’t have to be 100 items in 90 days - the 100 items and $1,000 requirements are in the last 12 months.
It also doesn’t have to be all coin sales. You can sell a different product to establish yourself as a seller.
