Product Sold For Parts
I listed a laptop for sale as is for parts only. Five days after the buyer received the laptop, he requested a return request due to it not matching the description or photo. I can't imagine an item sold as is for parts only would be any different but anyway. As usual after 20 minutes of trying to get past automated customer service chat stuff eBay automatically approved the return based on reason the buyer selected. Which should be said, was untrue. I researched the buyer and found out the buyer has a store on eBay that sells refurbished laptops of the same make and model as the one purchased from me and has a high seller rating. When the laptop was returned it was completely wiped of internal parts. It is unfair that this is allowed. Absolutely nothing I can do about it. This tells me that eBay supports dishonest behavior, and it has to stop. I can't even leave accurate feedback about the transaction because a seller can only leave positive feedback for buyers. Anyone else experience the same type of situation?
