Product not received as prescribed, Ebay won't do refund
I bought an item and received it.
Due to that it was a gift à have mentioned this to the seller", I asked him not to put an invoice within the package and send it by email only.
I have received the package and didn't open it till I went back home to give it to my brother (in a month time).
Suddenly, when he opened it Infront of me, the box was empty!!
I have raised it to the seller and he said that it was delivered and that's it.
I have pictures of the package and the box in it.
Ebay has decided that there will be no refund and I need to appeal!
Can any one guide me what to do?

·3 years agoYou only have 30 days after you receive the item to file for a refund.
If the MBG expired, Ebay won't do anything to help.
If you paid through Pay Pal, open a case with them or contact your credit card.

OP3 years agoFortunately, I have opened the case exactly in the last day of the month, since the item was a birthday gift on that day.
Ebay started that the package was received and I need to check with neighbors which is strange.
The seller even marked on the item barcode so I cannot issue a complaint!
Will try with Paypal.

·3 years agoIf you opened an item not received case, that's why they wouldn't issue a refund, because tracking showed something was delivered, even if it was an empty box.
You need to open an Item Not As Described case to get a refund.
