Problems with Japanese Trading Card Sellers
I have been having problems with a few of the Japanese TGC sellers. I buy a card using Buy It Now and immediately make payment. There is no response from the seller and after a few weeks I email the seller
who promises to post the card as soon as possible. The card never materializes but appears for sale on the
sellers' sites again at a higher price. If you want the card, you have no choice but to re-order at the higher
prices.
This is a deliberate action by the sellers as the TGC card prices go up and down on a daily basis and it
is possible for a card to have gone up by $100 or $200 by the time they get around to answering the seller
emails. They then cancel your order and sell at a higher price.
It would be nice if eBay could monitor these Japanese sellers who are ruining the eBay experience!
