Problems getting a refund
Back on November 15, 2023 I purchased a Refurbished HP Probook 450 G2 with 8 GB Ram and a 512 GB SSD
hard drive from the E bay seller Tech-Depot. A few weeks later I discovered that it would not run off the battery.
After getting in touch with the seller I received a return label to send it back. On Jan 18, 2024 I shipped it back .
On Jan 22 I received confirmation that they had the laptop. On Feb 4th I received a replacement (refurbished) laptop. As soon as I opened the box I could tell this was a very used and abused computer. I tried several times to turn it on but all I got was a blue screen with this message. (Recovery Your computer needs to be repaired
Error code 0xc000000f)
Again I got in contact with the seller Tech-Depot and was sent a return label and was told that I would get a full refund. I sent it back to them by FedEx and they received this laptop on Feb 9, 2024. After a number of messages back and forth I was told I could not get a refund from ebay because it is now over 90 days.
How can anyone say it is over 90 days when I had the first one from Nov 15th until Jan 18 th when I shipped it back and I had the second one for only a couple of days before I shipped it back.
Now it looks like I am out of a laptop and the $139. 00 I paid for it. I really feel like I have been SCAMMED by this seller and I will never do business with them again.

Since it is past the window of opportunity for using the Ebay 30 day Money Back Guarantee (from the date you received the original purchase), you can file a dispute with Paypal or your credit card company, depending on how you paid for the laptop.
