Problem with overseas selling
Summary: robgau6554 sold two lots of yarn on eBay and encountered an issue where a buyer couldn't purchase a third lot due to a platform bug claiming incorrect shipping settings. eBay confirmed this was a bug, but robgau6554 had to ship the items together to avoid a shipment delay. However, the buyer couldn't pay for the items without incurring an additional overseas shipping charge of 62 GBP. eastlaneave suggested setting the listing for local pickup to avoid shipping costs and inquired about the customs declaration for both lots.
I sold two lots of yarn to my buyer, and she wanted three but ebay wouldn't sell it to her, ebay said I didn't ship international. I called ebay and they confirmed I had everything right and it was a bug that wasn't allowing her to buy it. In the meantime, I shipped it together because otherwise the shipment would be late and I would get dinged for that. so I've shipped the item and its on its way but she can't pay for the item without it wanting overseas shipping for 62 GBP. How do I get paid for the item on ebay without the buyer incurring additional shipping charges?

So you sold 2 yarn lots but shipped 3. Did your paperwork reflect the 3rd lot or not? I don't know how that will affect the Buyer's customs, duties or tariffs.
If you follow the advice that @eastlaneave has provided the Buyer will get two items, a QR code and a 6-digit code. EITHER of those two items are typically given to the Seller at the pick-up. In your case the Buyer would have to give you the 6-digit code so you can use it to let eBay know the transaction is complete ...
You also could have asked the Buyer to ask you to cancel until the glitch was resolved. You could have cancelled using the reason "Buyer requested ..." the cancellation to avoid a strike on your account. The Buyer could have then purcahsed later.

See if you can set the listing for Local Pickup, no shipping cost.
Have the buyer purchase that.
I hope your customs declaration listed both lots of yarn?
