Problem with a seller
Have contacted the seller several times concerning a warrant item. They have replied to my first question then made an offer that I refuse. I have since contacted them and they are silent. My car is out of out of service until I get the new part, I is very inconvenient while I am waiting for them to respond. What is can I do or who can I talk to about the situation. NO AI please.

Warranty policy | eBay
Items valued over $15 that include a warranty or service contract must contain additional details in their listing description. You need to include one of the following:
Are you able to access that warranty from the listing?

OP1 year agoNo! The item is warrantied by the manufacturer for 1 year, I made the purchase Sept. 2024. I can't believe that eBay doesn't have a cuso service number or person to talk to. The AI is a joke. Nothing against the community but I want what was agreed with my purchase, I don't want to just talk about it. If someone can get me results I'm all ears. Outside of that how can eBay set by and let me be ripped off/defrauded. As it stands I can't use my car and if the seller refuses to uphold the advertised warranty then I'm out the purchase price and I have to purchase another alternator. This is the second time I have had an issue with a seller on eBay, other companies are more than happy to resolve issues. I can't afford to pay twice for one product, not to mention not being able to use my car. If I can't get the seller to honor there agreement and eBay won't/refuses to get involved then I will stop using eBay for any purchases, under the current situation it's less expensive to purchase a higher priced item(s) elsewhere.
Thanks for your impute.

Mentor1 year agoebay's Money Back Guarantee expired 30 days after receipt of the item.
Manufacturers of items do not honor warranties on their items unless the seller is an authorized dealer or reseller.
If you paid with Paypal, you can file a returns request with them as they allow up to 180 days from date of receipt. If you paid with a credit card, contact the card issuer regarding a chargeback.

·1 year agoHow long ago was the purchase? eBay provides a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee, not a warranty, so that makes a big difference.
