Probably Ebay internal vulnerability. Ebay ignored all the messages. What can I do now?
URGENT: Unexplained Account Activity and Lack of Response from Ebay Support
I'm reaching out for help and guidance with a concerning issue that occurred with my Ebay account yesterday. I'm hoping someone can offer some advice or insight into what might be happening.
The Problem:
I noticed that my account had made multiple purchases without my authorization, despite no external activity or login attempts being recorded. I'm talking about a significant number of transactions, all of which were completed without my knowledge or consent.
What I've Tried:
I've attempted to contact Ebay's customer support team four times, but unfortunately, I haven't received any response or resolution to this issue. I'm starting to get worried that my account has been compromised, and I'm not sure what to do next.
Details:
• The unauthorized purchases were made on 4th April
• There were no login attempts or activity from outside my account, according to Ebay's account.
• I've checked my account settings, and everything seems to be in order
• I've tried contacting Ebay support via for any email contact available. 'Contact Us' seems to ignore the message, along any attempts to make contact about experiencing technical problems /errors ,etc.
- I cannot cancel nor returns the items
- The seller has dissapeared.
Ebay's Inaction is Alarming: what concerns me most is Ebay's astonishing lack of response to this situation. As every minute passes, the case grows colder, and Ebay's inaction is, in effect, allowing the perpetrator
to remain at large. By not taking prompt and decisive action, Ebay is inadvertently becoming complicit in this crime, potentially emboldening the individual responsible and putting other users' accounts at risk.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get Ebay's attention and resolve this issue? I'm concerned about the security of my account and
the potential consequences of these unauthorized transactions.
