Private bids
I’ve noticed that on private auctions, some bids show the feedback number, and some say private. How do I make it so my bid will be private?

It will only say private on an auction set up by the seller as private.
But your buyer ID is always masked to everyone except you and the seller. Log out of eBay and go to an auction you've bid on and you'll see what it looks like.

Only buyers can set their feedback to private. If they do, the may find themselves blocked from buying by some sellers who are uncomfortable with buyers that have something to hide.
Since you're a seller however, you cannot make your feedback private.
