Private auction
How can sellers create a private listing - bidders" identities protected for all their auctions? I thought this was used only for big ticket items and pharmaceuticals. Has the policy changed?

·2 years agoThere might be different rules for items listed on ebay.de (German site) as opposed to here on ebay.com (primarily US). Germany has various laws that make it have some unique rules. There has never been a category restriction on Private Listings here as far back as I can remember.

Policy hasn't changed as far as I know...I have seen private listings for low priced items and non-pharmaceutical items too. Sometimes sellers also use it when listing in a highly competitive category.
