Printing USPS shipping labels
Today I sold 3 items and all three labels were unusable and unreadable. Is anyone else having their shipping labels purchased through eBay unable to use because the information is not centered on the screen so it isn't printing properly so I can attach it to my packages? I tried to include a picture of how the labels turn out but eBay says I don't have permission to upload documents.

Mentor4 months agoThis recently started? Are you printing to an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet or 4 x 6 ? Using the mobile app or a desktop computer?

OP4 months agoI am using 8 1/2 X 11 paper which I have been using for years. I didn't change any of my options on printing so not sure why now I get a label about 3.25 by 2.5 inches in size. I enlarged it on my printer but that made the bar code not be very usable, fortunaltly the PO was able to reprint the label and attach it to the packages.

Can you share a screen shot of what you are seeing? You can print a label you purchased up to 5 times before having to buy a new one. On this page if you use the drop-down menu on the left of one of the items in question and click "Download label" that is how you Reprint one you purchased. Track and manage your shipments
It is also possible that for some reason a setting on your eBay label flow has changed. Red circle on the screen shot below from the label printing page in eBay.

OP4 months agoI tried to attach pictures to my original question, but eBay said I did not have permission to attach pictures or copy and paste in the body. Just tried again and again it said I do not have permission to attach pictures.

Mentor4 months agoDid you check the format size setting is correct as posted earlier?
Is your browser set to open PDF files with Adobe and not its built in reader?
Does the label preview look correct?
Just above the label preview is the printer's paper size shown correct?

OP4 months agoIt does not look correct unless I download the label to my computer then use ctrl P to print then the label looks great but it prints in the super small size. I wish I could attach a copy so someone could see what it looks like and hopefully help me fix it:(

In this space we use the little Camera icon at the top of this typing field, clicking that will allow you to access your PC and picture or screen shot files. Once an image is select you can load it on to this page. Example below ... an all time favorite of mine, "The Elephant in the room" !!!

OP4 months agoOk the little camera icon says I need to provide a Source, Image Description, Dimensions and Constrain Proportions??????

Mentor4 months agoSounds like you selected to print an image and not a PDF file. On the create label page at the lower left recheck the format you have selected.

Mentor4 months agoYes, the next time you need to create a label, look to the lower right for the format settings. There is also a preview button to check it is what you want.
