pricing books
I am on the glide path to retirement and thinking how I can cut things down. Getting rid of my "lots" hopefullh by auction and discarding most that don't sell. I also have to think about my single books. I am pushing up against my shelving limit.
I am currently thinking about getting out of the business of dealing in books that meet my minimum price only if New (flawless) or Like new (excellent but may have extremely moderate wear). I have a great many books like that. I am wondering if people want to buy books only at Very good or even Good prices. I expect if I downgrade prices to Very good I will keep or list a lot less. I have no idea how to go through my inventory at this point . I would take valuable time that I need to list.
Do you list books based on Good or Very good prices? Or list a lot of books at New or Very new if condition warrants it?
