After making a purchase, I find the same item at a much lower price. This has happened to me more than once. I am appalled by this practice.

Sellers do not make 'adjustments' in price after the fact. Your negative is quite unfair. You expected to keep the item and also get a refund?

Many of your feedback left for others is telling of the type of buyer you are. Just like buyers should judge sellers by their feedback, sellers judge the feedback that buyers leave as well.

After making a purchase, I find the same item at a much lower price. How exactly are you finding the lower-priced item after the sale? Try to use that technique to find the lower-priced item before making the initial purchase. You may be able to alter the way you search to find that lower-priced item in your initial search. Note that eBay's "Price plus shipping: lowest first" sort order can filter results -- often drastically so. If given the option to "See more results" use that. Or else try another sort order. Try searching "Price plus shipping: highest first" and scroll to the end of the search results and work your way up to see the lowest priced offerings.

There will always be some eBay seller offering that item cheaper, faster, better. It is up to the buyer to seek out their best option.
If one commits to purchasing an item before doing all the research, thatâ€™s on the buyer.

Thatâ€™s just eBay. If one looked at other websites, maybe it would have been an even better deal.
A local garage sale may have had a box of them for cheaper than all the online options.

I donâ€™t understand why youâ€™re appalled (shocked, outraged, dismayed, horrified).

I could understand disappointment.

I would be disappointed with myself too if I kept buying impulsively only to find it cheaper, faster, better after I bought the first one I saw.

It sounds like you need to do better research before making a purchase. Sellers can ask whatever price they want. If you want to pay the lowest price, make sure you change the SORT to Lowest Price + Shipping and not Best Match.
