Price gouging is that legal when you know an item cost $5 from five and below their charging $36 and up to $169 that's not fair and it's ridiculous to rip people off that way there should be law to protect customers ebay should make it their policy not to price gouge at reasonably high rates I can see getting three times what it's worth maybe little extra if the shipping high but when you got to pay for shipping their charging $36 plus $10 for shipping I don't even think shipping for light weight item cost that much but if you want them to pay for shipping then set your price reasonable that's fair not 7 times what it cost plus shipping

Mentor2 months agoebay does not call what you are describing "price gouging". Sellers can charge whatever they like. If buyers think it is too much, they just won't buy. ebay considers "price gouging" charging way too much for items that are needed when a natural disaster occurs, such as items like bottled water, toilet paper, hand sanitizers, etc.
