Presale order sold
Hello 👋 I sold some shoes that were a presale and the delivery date is 1/17/27 and they have to go to eBay Authentication. How does eBay deal with that. Please advise any info , my biggest is I want to purchase the shipping label so eBay’s not on me but then how do I deal with it not arriving to the authenticator… Thank you

To add to @jacbarcollectibles reply, you need to refund the buyer, and explain that you should not have listed the item so prematurely, but will relist within 40 days of your shipping date to comply with eBay's policy.

Mentor1 week agoWhen you list an item for presale eBay policy is that it must be available for shipping within 40 days. So you would have to set your handling time to 40 days so the correct estimated delivery dates are shown. You did not do this for the shoes so eBay and the authenticators will be expecting the shoes to be sent much earlier than January. Since the shoes must go to the authenticator you will be supplied the shipping label to use but this will be impossible given the lead time for the shoes to be delivered.
