Presale Item Through Authentication
I recently sold a baseball card as a presale item, and even though the listing makes it clear that the item is a presale, I realized after the sale that I forgot to change the handling time to reflect how long it is going to take for me to receive the item from Topps before I send it to the buyer. Under normal circumstances, I would just message the buyer to confirm the handling time, but this is a card that will have to go through eBay authentication. Now I'm expected to ship the card to authentication within a couple days when the reality is that I will not have the card in hand for weeks. What problems should I expect and what can I do to avoid these problems?
