Prepaid item
Buyer wants item which she prepaid to be shipped out after my 3 day policy. Will it affect my seller performance for not following my policy?

Mentor2 years agoYes, it will affect your selling account. You can message the buyer and let them know that. If they agree, you can cancel (buyer requested) and have them re-purchase at a later date. Or they can have the USPS hold their delivery for them.

·2 years agoIt will affect your ontime shipping metrics. See https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/selling-policies/seller-standards-policy?id=4347 and scroll down to the section on Late Shipping Rates. It does not directly affect your defect rating.
You might want to send the buyer this (and advise him/her that if s/he wants delayed shipping s/he needs to arrange with the seller before hand for delayed payment):
Sellers must ship items within the handling time stated in their listing, using the shipping service the buyer selected at checkout.
