Preferences
Why such few custom options when searching. You should be able to define preferences that save - i.e. not in used condition. It’s annoying to have to recreate filters as they tend to reset. Maybe create a feature for “saved searches†or “recent filters†to refine the results quicker.

Mentor2 years agoYou can set up a search with the options you prefer, then save the search. Use the saved search as a starting point for future searches to use the same options again. If you do not want to use eBay's Saved Search feature or if you have used the maximum number, you can also use your browser's bookmark feature to save a search.
If you use the eBay app, there is a provision to enable lockable filters and lock various filter settings to set as your defaults.

OP2 years agoThank you. Appreciate it. I actually forgot that saved search existed but was talking more about the preferences and suggestions - i didnt describe well. Like, i dont want to be recommended anything used and would want a global preferences to only suggest new items or male clothing. I have never really bought anything used on Ebay but get more used suggestions as related items than what im actually searching and selecting. I even get suggestions for women clothings as an inspired by my search but i never once searched or bought anything womens. I dont know if its the algorithm or content/collaborative filter - not an expert but feel ebay doesnt recommend relevant items and provide a facebook/amazon/Netflix like personalized ad experience for lack of a better example - where the suggestions are related to what im interested (i.e. stuff im actually searching, clicking, buying) Love eBay Just something ive noticed as I got more active on ebay. Thanks again im going to start leveraging saved searches more

Mentor2 years agoHi @energie411
eBay does have a feature for saved searches. Just perform the search, and on the search results page, click Save this search.
