PRE SALE SHIPPING

Question

I clearly have the US Mint Clad Proof Set marked as a pre-sale. He says he has no idea he bid the item. I have had several texts with him and he is hardly responsive and cannot answer a simple question.

I have done nothing wrong - stayed incontact with updatede information, what should I do at this time as he has gone to Ebay to request refund.

I only see one item in your sold list that mentioned presale in the title. No where in the description did you mention that this is a presale and when the item would become available. So a buyer could easily miss this information. You would also need to change your handling time to allow for receipt of the item and then resend it.

So you should cancel the purchase if possible. Auctions are technically not cancellable so you would just have to see if eBay would allow you to cancel.

Refund. Cancel his purchase as buyer requested. You don't want to waste any more time on this. He doesn't want the item, and will just become a bigger problem.
