Pre-owned vs used
I recently took over the roll of eBay in our store and so far so good, except for two things:
1. Why can’t I get my listings to say pre-owned as opposed to saying used? All the other listings that I see say pre-owned. I don’t have that option in my listings. Does anyone know how to get it?
2. I recently got charged extra for shipping because my package was marked under weight. I don’t have a problem with that as long as if the package is overweight will I get credited? Has this ever happened to anybody?

Mentor11 months agoDepending on the CATEGORY you list the item, the term is either pre-owned or used.
If your package is under the weight you paid, you should get a CREDIT. If you underpay for your package, and the APV (automated package verification) program catches it, you will be charged.

Mentor11 months agoI want to add that there is a category and I unfortunately don't remember which one it is that you'll see pre-owned in the search but when you click on the listing it shows used. This has confused a lot of sellers as to why they can't select pre-owned in that category. It just that when they select used it shows a pre-owned in search.
