Pre-Formatting Item Description
Hello.
For my items, I write and format the descriptions in Word (on my Mac Book Pro), then copy/paste it into the site when I list the item. The problem is the system completely undoes all the work I did by reformatting the entire thing into a solid block paragraph, whereupon I have to fix everything, resulting in double work.
I want to be able to write and format my descriptions outside of ebay, then simply copy/paste that content into the listing tool, inside ebay.com, and not have to fix everything, every time. Can someone please tell me how to do it?
I am using a Mac Book Pro. I have been using Word, but I also have Keynote, and the Notes app.
I'd appreciate some help, if possible. Thank you.

Mentor2 years agoStop using Word, as it adds HTML formatting. Use a program that is all text with no formatting. I am guessing that is what Keynote and Notes does. Try both and see how it works. I use Windows, and Notepad is the program that does not include any HTML formatting.
