Posting a item for sell
I posted an item for sell and I had to choose selling it in both ways. Buy It Now and auction. With auction, each item was $5 each and there was 6 items. eBay is selling my whole set for $5. What do I do.

·3 years agoAn eBay auction can only be for a single item or a single lot of items. The price is ALWAYS for the whole shebang. You advertised "Six Books" in the title, you ship 6 books.
Saying otherwise in the description ("You can buy one or the whole set.") doesn't override that.
You ship those books (free shipping) to the winner if s/he pays. Like you promised you would when you set up the listing.

·3 years agoWhen a bid is made, the BIN price is removed and continues as a regular auction.
The listing said 6 books, which means they are buying the 6 books for one price.

OP3 years agoHow do you put in the comment to sell the item as a lot or one book at a time for the price.

·3 years agoThat can't be done, either you as selling a lot or one item .
You should end the listing you have now or you will have the same issue.

·3 years agoYou need to end the listing. There are several problems with it.
You can’t sell items as a choice listing with auction format. If you want the buyer to be able to choose from among the set, you need to do Buy It Now only, and set it up as a variation listing.
Remove the comment about the buyer emailing you. If you want to consider offers, you need to activate Best Offer for the listing. Inviting someone to email you offers is a serious policy violation, as it could be seen as trying to take the transaction off eBay.
