posted price
My listing shows a toy for $22.00 each plus postage. Buyer ordered two (2 ) toys and was charged a total $36.24 and that was for qty 2 of (22.00) toy plus tax and postage. The toy is 12 x 9 x 8. each so postage is outside of first class limits.
What do I do. Postage is high and toy is being sold below my cost and or posted LISTED PRICE.

OP3 years agoThe proof of the listed price was removed when both items were ordered. Ebay practice of removing the listing when sold out. I still have a listing posted showing price as $22.00. Maybe I had two listing ... same item list twice. ???? the current listing was $22.00 but I changed it to $122.00 so I could save it for proof I have it. The item is set up to show a weight of 2 pounds. the postage calculator was set at 4 pounds but due to the size of two toys it was over the 108 inch rule and postage was higher. So my main concern is why it was sold for $12.45 each and not 22.00 each ? $24.90 plus postage collected.
In the past the only time I have items sold for less was when I had wrong PRICE listed. That I can understand. These toys cost more than $11 each last Christmas and I was wanting to move them for space but the $12.45 is mystery.
I would like to solve this just so I know what I did wrong so it will not happen again. I went a head and shipped the items and just paid the postage to keep ebay and customer happy but just want to fix it so I will not see this again. Thank You

Mentor3 years agoI see ones sold for $12.45, but none for $22. Which ones are you talking about from your sold list here?

You can still see your original price, by going to the sold item and using Sell Similar, just don't actually post the item again.
You shipping preferences need to be changde to charge the full price for additional items (no discounts), rather than just add weights, which doesn't account for box size or whether more than one box is needed.
