    postage rates on ebay
                     

    When placing my ad for a first class package 15 ounces 8 x 8 x 8 box, ebay shows my seller prices on first class and Priorty at about $9 - $12.  However, when I check the shipping costs on Paypal for first class it is $6.78.

     

    Why wouldn't I just use Paypal?

    You pay the same discounted rate on eBay that you pay through PayPal or any other 3rd party online provider for first class postage.

     

    Are you sure you are looking at your cost, and not the retail price that will be shown in your listing?
