My purchased item arrived postage due, what is eBay policy?

Mentor4 months ago@karig. Postage due is the one reason a buyer can refuse a package and still be covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
Be sure to get a note from the post office showing the Postage due and file a not received refund request case.
Or you can try reaching out to the seller and see if they will willingly refund the Postage due amount.

OP4 months agoThank you. That’s not very helpful of eBay if it’s a unique item that you want and can’t find elsewhere….

Did you try reaching out to the seller and see what they say?
Your only other option is to pay the postage due.
EBay can't force the seller to refund more than the original sale price because that's all of the sellers $ they have access to.

OP4 months agoI did contact the seller who was very helpful and responded just now by reimbursing me, I was just very surprised that eBay didn’t provide better options than rejecting the package.

The problem is eBay literally can't make a seller issue a partial refund or refund more than the original sale price.
