If you purchased your label through eBay then you should have been charged the additional postage through the APV system that works between eBay and the carrier. The carrier should have simply delivered the package to the Buyer. Those charges or credits will appear in your Recent Activity records on this page over on the right: Seller Hub | Your financial summary | eBay
While rare, I am occasionally charged for that but have never been asked by my customers to pay postage due on a shipment.
How much money are we talking about here?
On the sold item you can use the drop down menu on the left and scroll down to the Send refund link. By clicking that you can cycle through sending a partial refund for the deficient postage.
Check the Buyer's Feedback to see if other Sellers mentioned anything about the Buyer asking for Postage due refunds.
