Post office mistakes, and lack of Ebay support (chatbot not helpful)
I shipped three packages on Monday October 20th. I dropped them into a designated drop off, as I usually do, and when the post office scanned them in instead of scanning them as "received" (by Post Office) they scanned them in as "delivered. Picked up by individual". This happened about an hour after I dropped them off and was pointed out to me by one of the buyers saying they got a notification it was delivered but wasn't (obviously... package isn't getting from NM to FL in 1 hour).
The post office has not been helpful, basically saying "oops it was a mistake it will be straightened out in a day or two" but that hasn't happened.
Now I have buyers reminding me their tracking#'s still say "delivered". Now I can't prove items were delivered or weren't delivered. Ebay's support sucks.
Any suggestions?

Mentor1 year agoClick on each tracking number to be taken to USPS.COM. Look for the link to enter your email address to be sent information on the tracking. That should help on getting the tracking number to update that the package is in transit.

OP1 year agoThat just gives me the same information indicating packaged was delivered... about an hour after I dropped it off. There is no chance the packages haven't moved in 3 days.
That's okay though, I refunded all buyers affected by it, even though I believe they'll all receive their items.
