Post office knowledge of ebay standard envelope
Hi, I've now had five different packages state that they are delivered from eBay and they were not delivered. I went to complain to my local post office and the postmaster acted like they've never heard of eBay standard envelope and because they can't personally use that tracking number that they're off the hook as far as missing packages are concerned. So pretty much they're wiping their hands clean if these things don't arrive which is telling me they are stealing them I am telling you right now my Postman and the postmaster were both Hood as Hood gets. This is ridiculous and eBay needs to be in contact with the post office to get this solved because when I bring a missing package report to the post office they act like they can't do anything because they can't personally track that number.

The delivery scan comes from the sorting equipment at the last processing center prior to actual delivery - it is not scanned at delivery - so the scan can happen a day or even 2 prior to delivery. Always ask the buyer to wait an extra day or 2 before refunding.
After refunding your buyer, file a claim for your loss. The system is not perfect, which is why you are protected. See the protections tab here - https://www.ebay.com/sellercenter/shipping/choosing-a-carrier-and-service/ebay-standard-envelope
The folks at your PO cannot track the envelopes - it is like asking them to track a letter. Any tracking info is available to you here - https://www.trackmyshipment.co/
I doubt any PO employee would risk federal time and their job for a few dollars of sports cards.
