post office didn't scan label before mailing
Since the post office didn't scan the ebay generated label, ebay thinks I haven't shipped the item yet, and there's no tracking info. How do I let ebay know about this issue so I don't get dinged for supposedly mailing the package late?

Mentor8 months ago@dle818-store Sorry but there is nothing eBay can do to help with this.
It is the sellers responsibility to make sure they get an acceptance scan. The best options are to stand in line and get the package scanned in OR use the kiosk in the lobby if your post office has one.
If the mail carrier picked up and didn't scan be sure to contact your local post master to file a complaint. The package MAY get a scan later along the way in shipping.
