Post exposure
Summary: mwants is experiencing challenges in selling antiques and collectibles online, noticing a decline in views and followers despite promoting listings. fashionsandbeauty4u suggests several improvements, such as adjusting auction starting prices, offering return options, reducing shipping rates, addressing negative feedback, and improving photo quality. mwants acknowledges the advice with gratitude.
I have been selling for 30 years. I have been successful listing quality antiques & collectibles. Single items up to $10,000, some years gross to $60.000+. I am trying to become more active. The lack of views & followers for items that customarily sell for amounts well exceeding my starts is appalling. I know very well that times have changed. I have promoted listings a few times, it does not seem to matter. I have high ranking seller status. Is mass promotion the key.? I can generally afford it. Any experienced sellers in antiques have some input?

In looking at your listings/feedback, I noticed several things that could be affecting your sales.
You mentioned that things change. That is very true with online selling. Buyers want things RIGHT NOW. So your auctions, especially those starting at $200, may no longer be popular.
Next: you don't offer returns. That can be a gamechanger for today's Buyers. I would consider at least Buyer-paid returns.
Next: I looked at several listings and those only offer Priority shipping. That can turn off Buyers with the high rates.
Next: you have seven negatives, almost all of them for item not as described. Buyers look at those, plus your responses.
And finally, if you can, I would try to lighten up your photos.
