Possible scam coming my way
On April 7 a NY Mets baseball cap I had listed sold. I sent it out immediately. This morning I get a message that the cap he received looked nothing like the photos and proceeded to tell me why it was the wrong cap. (I would have cut and paste the messages but not sure if that is allowed) I looked at my listing and saw that all particulars/description and photos were exactly the cap I sent. In fact I only had ONE of these caps to sell. It was new with tags. I wrote back stating this & telling them I would refund when I receive the return. He never said he would return it, nor did he ask for a refund yet. However, I have a feeling I am going to get an old, not the same cap I sent him. If this happens, do I still have to refund? The cap he is talking about is NOTHING like the one I sent him. The label he states is not there is clearly shown, sewn into the cap, in the photos.
Later on I wondered if I should have stated a refund will be sent upon receipt of the cap that was sent, or something to that effect. I have no problem refunding as long as it is the one I sent him. Any advice? Oh and he has zero feedback. I don't usually care because we all have to start somewhere but...

Unless the buyer opened a return through eBay, the ball is in the buyer's court. He may have decided not to pursue a return/refund, so there's nothing to do until he takes his next step (if he does).
