Possible scam
Purchased flywheel puller on July 7 and seller submitted an EMS tracking number LT140962129CN (order #: 21-11777-074050, seller Hardwarestars. The tracking info is in Chinese. I went to the EMS Tracking page in Google, when I typed the tracking number it replied that it does not exist. This might be a scam to steal buyers info and credit card number. Please contact me as soon as possible

Mentor2 years agoSellers do not receive any of the buyer's payment information from eBay. The buyer pays eBay, and eBay pays the seller later, separately.
The fact that a tracking number is not currently valid does not necessarily mean anything. Until a package is scanned somewhere, the tracking number may not be in the system yet.
An invalid tracking number does not actually help a seller.
If a buyer files an item not received case, the seller must produce a tracking number that actually shows delivery within three business days or refund the buyer. If the seller fails to do that, at that point the buyer can ask eBay to step in and force a refund.
It is a tracking numbers that appears to show delivery when nothing has been received that is problematic from a buyer's point of view.
