Possible non paying bidder with previous history
I have a buyer who registered 1 month ago and hasn't paid for an item. Previous experience tells me she was most likely registered before but was probably kicked off ebay for this type of negative behavior. Ebay only allows reporting for 2 reasons and this isn't one of them. How can I get ebay to investigate her so she doesn't continue bidding and not paying? I know I can block her but that doesn't seem like enough to stop her.

Mentor1 month agoEventually eBay will catch her because of the associated account information. All you can do is to block her from your listings. eBay seems to give a lot of leeway to buyers not paying so cancelling unpaid purchases using the "Buyer has not paid" reason will issue strikes to the buyers account and eBay monitors the number of strikes buyers receive. This is what eBay looks at not reports from sellers.

For any Buyer who does not pay wait 4 days and on day 5 Cancel the transaction. You will be able to select the reason "Buyer hasn't paid" and they will get an Unpaid item strike on their account. If they get 2 of those in 12 months they will have trouble bidding or buying anything on eBay. If you block them and then a new or different account does the same thing you can try contacting eBay's Trust and Safety Dept and ask them to look into the two (or more) IDs and see if they are "associated". That means the association is either their IP address, name, address, etc. that are the same. If they are then the Buyer would be in trouble for using different IDs to circumvent a block ... that is definitely a Policy violation.
