Possible fraudulent seller
This is frustrating that I can't locate a way to get in touch with eBay. I bought a cat scratcher from a seller on ebay - b/c it was cheaper than one I bought from Chewy.com a few months back. So, I get the item, shipped quickly to me no issues, but the name on the box (addressee) was not my name - it was someone else - but the address was correct. Also the phone # on the box was 2 digits off from my actual phone #. I contacted Chewy and they were able to see the tracking from Fed Ex and a picture of my house when the item was dropped off. I asked the seller why someone else's name was on the package and they gave me some excuse. They sent me emails about 4 times, saying not to contact eBay or to give them a negative or neutral review. I believe that the item I bought from this seller, was charged fraudulently to some poor unsuspecting person whose charge card info was stolen or bought off the dark web - how else can it be explained that a $49.00 cat scratcher at Chewy was shipped to be from Chewy but I paid some seller on eBay $33.00??? I had a similar situation a few years back with an expensive bird feeder. I sure wish I could contact someone at eBay!
