Possible fraudulent charge

My credit card company notified me of suspicious activity on my acct. A charge from Ebay for $523.22. I haven't purchased anything from Ebay recently, and there's no record of any recent purchases on my Ebay acct either. Has anyone come across this before? I can't seem to find any relevant topic in Ebay's help section, so I decided to start here first. Any recommendations as to how I can contact Ebay? My credit card company has started a claim/investigation.

Any possibility you made a purchase using another eBay account, or as a guest?

eBay can only help if the purchase was made using your own eBay account. If a purchase was made using a different eBay account and paid for with your credit card number without your authorization, contacting your card issuer to dispute the charge and get a new card number is the proper response.
