Possible Fake Tracking Number – Package Picked Up in Seller’s State
I purchased an item from a seller this morning. Shortly after I placed the order, the seller marked it as shipped. However, this afternoon, the tracking information showed that the package had already been picked up from the post office.
The first issue is that the location shown in the tracking information is completely wrong. The seller and I are not even in the same state, and I noticed that the post office shown in the tracking is actually located in the seller’s state, not mine.
I contacted the seller immediately to ask about this, but the seller has stopped responding to my messages.
