Positive Feedback that seems fake
After viewing a certain sellers feedback. (Support4Veterans) I noticed the verbiage used from their buyers repeated itself. How can someone get the exact same feedback wording from a variety of customers? Some instances the feedback is the same 10 times in a row from completely different buyers. Each feedback comment is exactly the same thing . Same punctuation and spacing… seems impossible for every one of these buyers to leave the exact same feedback. Can someone explain this to me? Seems like fake positive feedback to me.

You see this from multiple sellers, too. EBay provides some sample feedback comments to use, and many buyers and sellers use them.

OP2 years agoHow and where do they provide sample feedback? I never noticed anything like that when leaving feedback. Do you mean Like a drop down menu and you just choose a feedback phrase?

As a seller you can store feedback comments and then select from them when you leave feedback for your buyers. I think you may have to use seller hub to use the stored comments manually, but you can also automate your feedback - the automation option uses those stored comments. I set mine up long ago and still use it, but I do remember having to type over the sample feedback in the menu. You could check here - click edit comments after selecting edit next to automate feedback -

I do not see where this feature is available for buyers now, but I think it was some time ago. The seller you mentioned only had seller feedback from over a year ago - I think you were mostly seeing his feedback as a buyer.
